A period tracker that doesn't need to know who you are.
Anima Cycle has no account, no login, and no backend server of its own. Your check-ins and cycle data stay on your iPhone by default, and nothing is uploaded, sold, or shared with advertisers as part of normal use.

What "on-device by default" actually means.
- Storage
- Cycle parameters, daily check-ins, and logs live in on-device storage on your iPhone, not on a company server as part of normal use.
- iCloud Sync
- Optional, off by default. If you turn it on, data syncs only within your own private iCloud account, governed by Apple's infrastructure rather than Anima Cycle's.
- Circle
- Optional partner/friend sharing. Only a simplified summary, not your raw entries, goes to someone you've personally invited and approved. Revocable anytime.
- Account
- None. No email, no password, no sign-up screen before you can start tracking.
Privacy, specifically
Does Anima Cycle require an account?
No. Anima Cycle has no account system and no login. You open the app and start tracking. There's no email, password, or sign-up step, and no backend server of Anima Cycle's own that your data passes through.
Is my cycle data sold or shared with advertisers?
No. Anima Cycle doesn't sell health data, doesn't share it with advertisers, and doesn't run an ad SDK. Your check-ins stay on your iPhone by default. The only way any of it leaves your device is if you personally turn on iCloud Sync, within your own private iCloud account, or invite someone through the optional Circle feature.
What does "on-device by default" actually mean?
Your cycle parameters, check-ins, and logs are stored locally on your iPhone using on-device storage, not uploaded to a company server as part of normal use. iCloud Sync, if enabled, stays within your own private iCloud account. Circle shares only a simplified summary with someone you've invited.
